1st Cosfest + 1st Cosplay : 11 July 2009
Yesterday:
Yesterday was soooo cool and soo freakin' awsome!
okok! I should just start from morning ..
Breakfast was kinda a disaster ..and now my mother knows about me cosplaying~
That's good, really it is. But now I have to get extremely good results for my Exams.
After that, I went to buy hair gel and went to school. While walking to school, I sms-ed MF and asked if she could come along. And you know what? I didn't recieve any damn reply from her throughout the whole of yesterday. Oh well,,
During wushu, we did the usual warm up. My leg still hurts from over-stretching.
Today, we had the DSA try outs. Two boys came. 1 with a strong wushu background and the other with a little wushu background.
We did long weapons today and I'm sooooo rusty after 3-4 months of no training. Damn.
After training, I went to shower ..(yes, there are showering cubicles in my school). Binded and gel-ed. Wanted to make sure everything was all set and ready to go ..so I took my time in the toilet ...=_='''
Rushed for the bus after that and I was panting in the bus. Saw denice and talked to her. 'Cause of the binding, I couldn't breathe in that much ...oh well, have to get use to it. ('cause future cosplays all boys one. I WON'T do a girl one~ =D )
Had a tough time riding the train 'cause I ended up at the wrong stop. And then, I took the wrong train. And I have to take the other train ALL the way back to Pasir ris. [ mendokusai~ ]
(I looked like one pathetic ryoma having trouble with trains)
Went to the sport shop 'World of Sports' to see how much does a tennis racquet cost. And ...It cost $60 - $200+.
I was like "DAMN! I wonder if I could tao jia huan jia?? (ask for a lower price)" ....
After that, I gave up on the racquet and bought the wrist band.
Met Hina-chan outside comic connection. She looked SOOOOO FREAKIN' COOL!!!! EXACTLY LIKE NAOTO!!! OMFG !! (i couldn't say this in real life 'cause whatever I say, it sounds sacarstic~ ToT)
So, I helped her bind and it seems that it wasn't tight enough. TToTT ..gomenasai~
Later, we took a bus to Downtown. On the bus, I heard "Hey, its Ryoma!"
I was like,"Cool! Someone knows me! =D" lol!
We went to the venue where cosplayers were cosplaying and there were SO MANY of them!
I shall list down what anime cosplay I saw:
1. DGM
2. Soul E.
3. Naruto
4. VK
5. Strawberry Panic
6. Shugo Chara!
7. KHR
8. K-On!
9. Neigma
10. OHSHC
11. PoT (me + another ryoma + eiji) (fyi: we don't know each other)
12. PacMan / Waka-waka (lol?)
and many more which I don't know / remember / forgotten ...
lol ~ so I followed Hina-chan to meet her friends and they looked so cool! I felt so odd-one-out. >_>''' ......Hina-chan and her friend, Hitsu(if i'm not wrong) was cosplaying from Persona 4. While Hitsu's friend was cosplaying some guy from Tales of Abyss. =D
So, we went into the Dome. Walking round and round and round and heard many karaoke competitions. Some were good, but some went zhao siaa~
Many Photographers took photographs of Hina-chan and Hitsu ..
Seeing them posing was soo cool ~
People also wanted to take a photograph of the guy cosplaying Tales of Abyss, however, he had a LONG red wig which covers his face. Therefore, they can't take a photo.
We rested at one cornor after that and talked. Hina-chan took photos of us doing the same pose('cause both of us have caps ^^)
Then, Hina-chan and I walked around again. Then, a photographer came and asked us to pose together~ Cool! My first photoshot~ =D ( haha, I sound like some kind of kid talking about my first expirence of something 'incredible' )
THEN! I SAW another RYOMA! and some fudomine people~ lol! ...the Ryoma spotted me and she shouted "RYOMA!! RYOMAAA!!!" ...I wanted to ignore ..but I guess that would be kinda rude ..so ...I turned back and did a twist signed~ =D ..the other Ryoma was like...Stunned~ and then, idk why ..she started to jump around and round ....
So blah blah and blah (kinda forgotten what happened) and then ..we went back to burger king to rest and later we went to the arcade. =D
Hitsu played Para-Para? So cool! I wanted to try~ lol! haha, too paiseh ..next time bah ^^

so we went back to the Dome and there's very little people ...
Hina-chan and Hitsu had lots of photoshot after that ..
then Hitsu's friend, cosplaying as idk what ...but very cool,
he was selling Zangetsu's sword ...
very expensive ...
hoho~ laterr~
we saw a chair! yes! an empty chair!! so the Zangetsu selling guy was telling Hitsu to sit on the chair! and then~ she refused ..then~ she pointed at me~ saying "eh! prince of tennis eh! the prince must sit on the chair" ...I shaked my head ..

After that, Hitsu said "Hey hey, lets try posing back to back~" ...so we did ..

the friends were girls so ..lucky~
but later ..
the photographer told us to squeeeeeze together ..
so i had a hard time posing for them ..
in the end, i did the usual move ..
and ...just acting like ryoma~ D=
could have smiled but 'cause I put on braces ..I can't~ D= ..
then they said thankyou and I said thankyou ..
then the girls started to jump away estaticly ~
cool~
later on ..
we head back to burger king and talk for like ..
1-2 hours?
when the clock strike 8pm ..
Hina-chan and I need to go back home~
soo ..
when we stepped out of Burger King ..
IT WAS RAINING !
a blessing but kinda troublesome~

Hina-chan took the bus home while i bid farewell to her and took the train.

on the train, not much people had much reactions to me ..
I just look like a kid who just came home from tennis practise ..
while the other cosplayers with striking wigs and short mini skirt had all the attention ~
cool!
haha ..
went home, bathed and ate dinner~
didn't plurk ..
and my karma went down~ =A='''
explained everything about cosplay to my mother ..
my sister was like .."hohoho"
and my brother was like insulting me and tyring to make me feel that i shouldn't have cosplayed.
